Na današnji dan, 4. studenog 2003. godine objavljen je album “Skull Ring” (Virgin) legendarnog Iggyja Popa. Svaka pjesma na albumu Iggyjeva je kolaboracija s bendovima The Stooges, The Trolls, Green Day, Sum 41 i Peaches. Najčešći je bend s kojim je taj velikan surađivao na albumu “Skull Ring” The Trolls, Iggyjev prateći bend iz ere “Beat ‘Em Up”, koji je činila četvorka u sastavu Whitey Kirst i Pete Marshall na gitarama, basist Lloyd Mooseman Roberts te bubnjar Alex Kirst.
Iggyjev izvorni bend The Stooges na albumu se pojavljuje u četiri pjesme: “Little Electric Chair”, naslovnoj “Skull Ring”, “Loser” i “Dead Rock Star”.
Za singl s albuma odabrana je pjesma “Little Know It All” u kojoj je Iggy surađivao s bendom Sum 41, a spot za pjesmu završio je i u igri “NASCAR Thunder 2004”. Cijeli je album producirao sam Iggy Pop osim spomenutog singla i spota za čiju je produkciju zaslužan Greig Nori.
